It is set in a conservation area, opposite the village duck pond and surrounded by open spaces and common land. A new building has recently been added, housing the school's music, sport, dance and drama, as well as classrooms for the youngest pupils. It teaches the National Curriculum to Key Stage 2 and pupils go on to a range of local junior and senior schools.
