What it's like
Founded in 1820 to educate sons of non-conformist clergy, the school is now co-educational, having admitted girls into the sixth form first in 1976. It now inhabits large grounds near the West Yorkshire border.
Pupils & entrance
Pupils: Total age range 7-18; 737 day pupils (392 boys, 345 girls). Main entry ages 7, 11, 13, 16. Own junior school.

Curriculum
GCSE, AS, A-levels. Sixth form: Most sixth formers take 4 subjects at AS-level, 3 at A-level. ICT: taught as a discrete subject throughout the school
